Coalition Spotlight Conversation: Meetings – Behind the Scenes

This month, we were joined by our special guest, Atlee Tyree, for a great conversation about Meetings: Behind the Scenes. We recorded the discussion in this VLOG and hope you enjoy the conversation as much as we did. Highlights from our discussion include:

• The types of meetings you host determine the amount of prep time but usually budget AT LEAST 3xs the amount of time for prep as your meeting time is for (for example, a 1 hour meeting may require 3 hours of prep).
• The purpose of the meeting is always front of mind and helps determine how you plan.
• She focuses on making things easy for the audience to consume information and participate along with making helping/volunteering easy.
• She has developed a lovely “run of show” document that helps outline logistics. 

Finally, we loved this one!

• Perfection is not the goal. Give yourself, your helpers and your attendees grace.
